Dee began early in her career as a ghostwriter, selling and optioning her work. Her versatility in writing across different formats demonstrates her profound understanding of storytelling. With a keen knack for dialogue and character development, Dee has earned respect as a Screenwriter and Playwright.

Writing approach

My work is often described as emotionally precise and very much relatable. That's because I allow my characters to act and speak sincerely. When writing I focus on truth- rather than external expectation. My character-driven narratives, honesty, and often times strong dialogue allows my stories to unfold naturally and realistically. After all, life doesn't always have fairy-tale-happy-endings, and neither does my stories.
